On arrival, make your own way to the city centre where you will stay for the next three nights. Originally a Viking fishing village, Copenhagen has evolved into one of Europe’s most sophisticated cities.
Begin with a city tour of Copenhagen, taking in the oldest part of town and the main landmarks.
You will see the Little Mermaid, the Royal Palace, to the colourful Nyhavn harbour with its outdoor restaurants and picturesque cafes. Pass by the Christianborg Castle, home of the Danish Royal Parliament. In the afternoon board a cruise and discover Copenhagen‘s more contemporary face as you slip through canals past some of the cities most notable sights. End the afternoon at the Tivoli Gardens (entrance fee included) to enjoy at your leisure
Free day to enjoy the city.
Today we leave Denmark and fly to Bergen, Norway’s UNESCO gateway city to the fjords.
Begin with an orientation tour to explore Bergen filled with history and tradition. This big city enjoys a small-town charm and is easily explored on foot. Stroll around old cobbled streets and small wooden houses and discover the well-known, old Hanseatic wharf with its heritage buildings. Take the funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen, one of the seven mountains surrounding Bergen for wonderful views over the city.
Is a relaxed and easy-going town, in touch with its nautical roots. The lively main harbour, Vagen, and the Fish Market lie at the town’s centre and close by is the UNESCO world heritage Hanseatic wharf. There’s also a great choice of museums, galleries and restaurants to enjoy.
Start the morning with a coach to Voss and continue by train on one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world, the Flåm railway. This takes you on a thrilling ride 866 meters up the mountainside to Myrdal station. Admire spectacular scenery as you weave in and out of tunnels with breathtaking views at every turn. Continue with a two hour luxury cruise on the narrow Nærøyfjord surrounded by snowclad mountains, hanging valleys and cascading waterfalls. After an epic day, relax as you travel by coach to Gaileo for an overnight stay and dinner in the mountains.
As you leave the mountains today the landscape will change from quaint villages to city lights as you approach Oslo. On the way stop at Hadeland Glass factory and ski jump for a photo stop.  Remainder of the day is at leisure.
A morning tour covers the medieval spires and ramparts of Oslo’s Akershus Fortress, the opulent Royal Palace, and Opera House on the waterfront. There will be time for a stroll Frogner Park to view Gustav Vigeland’s lifework with more than 200 sculptures in bronze, granite and wrought iron throughout the park.
After breakfast we travel to Stockholm with many photo opportunities and stops as we travel through open landscapes, dense forests and glittering lakes. Stop for lunch at Karlstad located on the beautiful shores of Lake Vanern, the largest of Sweden’s lakes. Arrive early evening into Stockholm for the next two nights.
Stockholm, a city often referred to as the Venice of the North. Start with a guided tour at Fjällgatan to see the magnificent view of the Swedish capital, spread out on 14 islands with Lake Mälar on one side and the Baltic Sea on the other. You will see the Old Town with its fascinating narrow cobble-stoned alleys, the Royal palace, the Cathedral, and the City Hall where the festivities of the annual Nobel Prize award takes place. Visit the recreational island Djurgården where many of the fine museums are found.  In the afternoon, the rest of the day is at leisure.
