You’ll enjoy guided sightseeing of the must-see sights in each of the cities, such as New York City’s Rockefeller Center; Boston’s Freedom Trail; Québec City’s Palace Royale, the historic square known as the birthplace of French America; Montréal’s 19th-century Notre Dame Church; Ottawa’s Parliament Hill; Toronto’s iconic, 1,815-foot-tall CN Tower; Washington DC’s most famous landmarks; and in Pennsylvania Dutch country, learn about the history of the Amish community—including their faith, culture, and way of life without the use of telephones or electricity in the home—at the Amish Farm & House.
Scenic drives also await you on this eastern Canada & U.S. tour. This morning, enjoy an included sightseeing tour with a local guide. You will see Broadway, the Empire State Building, Rockefeller centre, Wall Street, the 9/11 Memorial, and more. This afternoon, head for Boston-the “Cradle of American Liberty.”

On your morning guided tour of Boston, visit the historic landmarks that have played an important part in the history of the United States. See Faneuil Hall, the Old North Church (where Paul Revere was signalled for the departure of British troops to Lexington), the Freedom Trail, and Boston Common. The afternoon is free to explore on your own.

Journey through New Hampshire and on to the scenic White Mountains. Continue to the Canadian border, where you’ll notice a change in language and tradition as you enter the French-Canadian province of Québec and historic Québec City on the banks of the St. Lawrence River.

This morning, join your travelling companions on a unique optional excursion to the Erabliere le Chemin du Roy Sugar Shack. Visitors to the sugar cabin will enjoy a typical Quebec breakfast, along with a guided visit and presentation to explain the process of maple extraction. Afterward, return to Quebec City for a guided tour of Canada’s only walled city, crowned by the turrets of Chateau Frontenac. Until the British victory of 1759, Old Quebec was the centre of New France; today, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Within the walls reside the Place d’Armes, Laval Seminary, the star-plan Citadelle with grand vistas from its bastions, and ancient Place Royale. See the Old-World houses crowding narrow streets in Lower Town and the historic Plains of Abraham, where General Wolfe stormed the slopes. The afternoon is at leisure.

Today, drive to cosmopolitan Montreal, one of Canada’s largest cities and home of Expo ’67 and the 1976 Summer Olympics. Included guided sightseeing includes St. Joseph’s Oratory, the lookout atop Mount Royal, once-walled Old Montreal, Notre Dame Church, the Seminary of St. Sulpice (built by the first missionary settlers), and modern Montreal.

Drive west to Ottawa, Canada’s beautiful capital. Guided city sightseeing includes Parliament Hill with its Gothic buildings, the Canadian Mint, the Rideau Canal, the National Gallery of Canada, and stately residences and embassies. With a free afternoon, you could visit ByWard Market with its artisan shops and culinary treats. Consider an optional excursion to the Canadian Museum of History, Canada’s oldest and most popular museums for its exceptional exhibitions and extraordinary views of Parliament Hill across the Ottawa River.

Trace the Rideau Canal south to the amazing Thousand Islands National Park. Then enjoy a scenic cruise around the many wooded islands along the St. Lawrence River sprinkled with beautifully simple to opulent summer homes.

Setting Toronto’s exciting architectural tone are City Hall; the downtown banking district; Roger’s centre; and stunning CN Tower, more than a third of a mile high. See all this and more on your morning city sightseeing tour. Then, spend the rest of the day exploring city sights such as Harbourfront, Ontario Place, and Chinatown on your own. This evening, consider an optional dinner atop the CN Tower where, with clear skies, you can see for miles!

Travel south along the lakeshore and through the rich farmlands and vineyards of Ontario to Niagara Falls. Stop at Table Rock and hear the raging waters. Then, board your Niagara Falls sightseeing cruise for amazing close-ups at the base of the thundering falls and an experience you won’t soon forget! Then reach for the sky on an optional flightseeing tour aboard a helicopter for breathtaking views high above the falls. NOTE: Operation of the Niagara Falls sightseeing cruise is subject to favourable weather and/or river conditions. Favourable conditions usually exist from May to October. When weather is unfavourable, a visit to Journey Behind the Falls will be substituted.

Leave Canada and head southeast through the Appalachian Mountains and along a portion of the Susquehanna River into Pennsylvania Dutch farm country. Tonight, join the optional excursion and experience authentic Pennsylvania Dutch cooking.

This morning, stop at the Amish Farm & House where a Local Guide explains the faith, culture, and way of life of these people for whom tradition forbids the use of electricity or telephones in the home. On to Washington DC for an afternoon arrival. Consider an optional evening dinner and Monuments by Night Illumination tour that shines a new light on this historic capital.

The nation’s capital is a sightseeing treasure trove. Your half-day tour with a Local Guide visits the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and has photo stops at Capitol Hill, the White House, and other well-known sights. The remainder of the day is free. Perhaps visit the National Museum of American History to see Dorothy’s ruby slippers from the Wizard of Oz or the National Museum of Natural History to see dinosaur bones and the Hope Diamond! Your Tour Director will also have suggestions for exploring this historical and culturally rich city.

Travel north this morning to Philadelphia. Visit Independence National Historical Park, home of the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were signed. Have time to explore these and other places in what is referred to as “America’s Most Historic Square Mile” on your own. This evening, set your sails for dining aboard the Tall Ship Moshulu, the world’s oldest and largest square-rigged sailing vessel still afloat.

This morning, enjoy additional sightseeing in the “City of Brotherly Love” before saying goodbye to your Tour Director and leaving for New York City. Check into the New Yorker, a Wyndham Hotel, for the next two nights. Your Local Host will be available for any questions you may have and can offer suggestions for sightseeing, shopping, and dining.

MyAccount
MyAccount is where you can manage all of your bookings with Globus and Cosmos. After booking you will be required to create a MyAccount to register your passenger details. This must compbe leted in order to receive your tour documents which will be available on MyAccount within 14 days of your tour start date.
Payment
A first deposit from $999 per person is required to secure your tour booking. A second deposit for the airfare balance is due when flights are booked within 10 months of departure – the amount to be advised at the time of booking. The final balance is due 5 months before departure.
$1000 Air Credit Per Person – Conditions
Air Credit can be redeemed within 10 months of departure by contacting our Air Concierge Team on 1300 692 784 or cruiseair@mycruises.com.au. Any airfare balance due is payable at the time of booking flights.
Solo Occupancy
A single supplement from $2593 per person is payable in addition to the twin share price for solo occupancy.

Child
This tour is best enjoyed by adult travellers and the minimum age to participate is 5 years old. Children 5 years of age and above are subject to the adult price. An adult must accompany participants under 18 years of age.
Price
Surcharges may apply for select travel periods and departure cities. Prices are correct at time of publication and are subject to availability, change, cancellation or withdrawal without notice. All prices are per person twin share unless stated otherwise.
Amendment
Each amendment is subject to a non-refundable fee from $75 per person. Additional fees and fare differences from third-party suppliers including air, tour, cruise and accommodation providers may apply.
Cancellation
Cancellation is subject to a fee from $550 per person. Additional fees and fare differences from third-party suppliers including air, tour, cruise and accommodation providers may apply.
Passport
For international travel, each customer must provide a copy of the passport photo page at the time of booking. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure all names are full names exactly matched to the passport with six months validity beyond trip completion. The customer is liable for all fees due to incorrect names, invalid passport information and expired passports.
Visa
A visa is required for Australian passport holders visiting the USA for the purpose of short-term tourism. Apply online prior to leaving for a visa https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/isa Requirements for each origin and destination country are the responsibility of the customer to check and obtain (if required) with the local consulate or embassy. The customer is liable for all visa application costs and fees due to the failure to obtain the required travel documents.
Health
It is the responsibility of the customer to check and comply with the health, vaccination, COVID-19 and immigration requirements of each origin and destination country, and health requirements imposed by air, tour, cruise and accommodation providers. Vaccinations, testing and quarantine costs are the expense of the customer. Comprehensive travel insurance with COVID-19 coverage is strongly recommended.
Baggage
Each person is entitled to a strict maximum of one bag not exceeding 20kg on the coach tour, superseding any other baggage allowance. Excess baggage is not permitted. You are strongly encouraged to pack lightly. A light day bag or backpack is permitted on the coach. Porterage is not included and you are required to carry your own bags. Luggage and personal effects are your own risk and we hold no liability for lost or damaged belongings.
Meals
Please notify us at the time of booking of any special dietary requirements and allergies. We will pass on your requirements but cannot guarantee that they can be met as certain choices may be limited or not catered for. You are encouraged to reconfirm requirements with your tour leader whilst on tour.
Accommodation
Accommodation names referenced are to be used as an indicative guide for the standard of accommodation to expect. Actual accommodation names may differ and will be confirmed on your final documentation. All hotel ratings are local or self-ratings provided by the supplier. All rooms are lead-in category or run of house unless otherwise specified. The standard check-in time is after 3pm and check-out is before 10am – actual times may vary.
Tipping
Tour guide and driver tipping is customary and a strongly recommended gesture of appreciation for the service provided.

Itinerary
The operating schedule and itinerary may be impacted without notice by adverse weather, seasonal factors, closures, local conditions, COVID-19 or other factors beyond our control including force majeure. If attractions are not available due to reasons beyond our control such as closures or adverse weather, alternatives will be provided where possible. The itinerary and its order, sightseeing and transportation may be adjusted as deemed appropriate by the operator for optimum safety, enjoyment and operation. Any reference to ‘optional’, ‘not included’ or ‘exclusions/excluded’ means at your own expense.
Breakaway
Customers must remain with the tour group at all times and must not leave the tour unless written approval is provided before departure.

Force Majeure
Force majeure means any natural disaster, accident, fire, act of God, act of war, terrorism, legally binding judgment, injunction, action of a court or other relevant authority, emergency, unplanned repairs, maintenance, strike, industrial dispute, work ban, blockade or picketing, travel ban, pandemic, epidemic or outbreak of infectious disease, or other event beyond our reasonable direct or indirect control. In case of force majeure or other extraordinary event that prevents safe travel, the supplier reserves the right to adjust, postpone or cancel the trip.
