New York City is one of the world’s most exciting cities, buzzing with atmosphere and packed with fascinating sights. On today’s guided sightseeing tour, see the major attractions-Broadway, the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Centre, and the 9/11 Memorial. This evening, choose from the city’s many fine restaurants or maybe take in a Broadway show.

Depart Manhattan, heading across New Jersey through the Poconos Mountains and into upstate New York. Late this afternoon, cross the border to the Canadian side of the Niagara River in Ontario. Spend the next two nights in beautiful Niagara Falls.

This morning, enjoy a sightseeing cruise where you’ll get up close views of the thundering world-famous Niagara Falls. Fall in love with the falls even more with an optional flightseeing excursion by helicopter or an optional lunch at the soaring Skylon Tower (at your own expense). Your afternoon is at leisure. Consider visiting the Butterfly Conservatory, Great Gorge Adventure, Niagara Parks’ Botanical Gardens, or maybe ride the aerial cable car.
NOTE: Operation of the Niagara Falls sightseeing cruise is subject to favourable weather and/or river conditions. Favourable conditions usually exist from May to October. When conditions are unfavourable, a visit to Journey Behind the Falls will be substituted.

Head southeast through the Appalachian Mountains to the town of Corning, NY, known as the “Crystal City.” Visit the Corning Museum of Glass, the world’s most comprehensive collection of glass, with over 50,000 objects representing more than 3,500 years of history. This evening is free for you to enjoy this charming town. Perhaps take a stroll to Centerway Square which was once voted Best Public Square in the country.

Travel south through the Pocono Mountains and into the Susquehanna River Valley, then on to Philadelphia, the birthplace of American independence. The “City of Brotherly Love” is steeped in history from Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed, to the Liberty Bell. Your orientation tour focuses on the historic landmarks as well as more current ones, like the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art made famous in the movie `Rocky’. Stop at Reading Terminal Market, one of America’s largest and oldest public markets, for lunch where you can experience local Favourites like Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches or traditional Pennsylvania Dutch food. This evening, join an optional excursion (at your own expense) to dine aboard the Tall Ship Moshulu, and let your imagination sail on the world’s oldest and largest square-rigged sailing vessel still afloat.

Travel to Washington, DC, the U.S. capital and seat of government, a 2-night stay. Have the afternoon to enjoy the world-renowned, and free, Smithsonian museums or take a stroll around the National Mall. Later, an optional evening out features dinner and an illumination tour shining a light on the city’s most famous monuments and memorials.

The nation’s capital is a sightseeing treasure trove, and your half-day tour with a Local Guide features the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, the Ford Theatre and photo stops at Capitol Hill and the White House. The afternoon is free for exploration. Perhaps visit the National Museum of American History to see Dorothy’s ruby slippers from the Wizard of Oz, the National Museum of Natural History to see dinosaur bones and the Hope Diamond, or the National Gallery of Art to see the only Da Vinci oil painting in the western hemisphere.

Your holiday ends this morning. Consider extending your stay with extra nights to further explore Washington DC. For passengers who would like to return to New York City, the motorcoach will transfer you to our New York hotel, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Manhattan/Central Park, at no additional cost.

We select hotels with the best guestrooms, service, and food for the money, so you can rest easy knowing we’ve checked everything out before your check in. Accommodation names will be confirmed on your final documentation.

Flights, airport transfers, meals not stated, drinks on meals, optional programs, visas (if required), travel insurance (strongly recommended), tipping, personal expenses and anything not explicitly specified are at your own expense.
MyAccount
MyAccount is where you can manage all of your bookings with Globus and Cosmos. After booking you will be required to create a MyAccount to register your passenger details. This must compbe leted in order to receive your tour documents which will be available on MyAccount within 14 days of your tour start date.
Payment
A first deposit from $999 per person is required to secure your tour booking. A second deposit for the airfare balance is due when flights are booked within 10 months of departure – the amount to be advised at the time of booking. The final balance is due 5 months before departure.
Air Credit
Air Credit can be redeemed within 10 months of departure by contacting our Air Concierge Team on 1300 692 784 or cruiseair@mycruises.com.au. Any airfare balance due is payable at the time of booking flights.
Solo Occupancy
A single supplement from $1447 per person is payable in addition to the twin share price for solo occupancy.

Triple share is not available.

Pre- or post-tour accommodation is on request.
Child
This tour is best enjoyed by adult travellers and the minimum age to participate is 5 years old. Children 5 years of age and above are subject to the adult price. An adult must accompany participants under 18 years of age.
Price
Surcharges may apply for select travel periods and departure cities. Prices are correct at time of publication and are subject to availability, change, cancellation or withdrawal without notice. All prices are per person twin share unless stated otherwise.
Amendment
Each amendment is subject to a non-refundable fee from $75 per person. Additional fees and fare differences from third-party suppliers including air, tour, cruise and accommodation providers may apply.
Cancellation
Cancellation is subject to a fee from $550 per person. Additional fees and fare differences from third-party suppliers including air, tour, cruise and accommodation providers may apply.
Passport
For international travel, each customer must provide a copy of the passport photo page at the time of booking. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure all names are full names exactly matched to the passport with six months validity beyond trip completion. The customer is liable for all fees due to incorrect names, invalid passport information and expired passports.
Visa
Visa requirements for each origin and destination country are the responsibility of the customer to check and obtain (if required) with the local consulate or embassy. The customer is liable for all visa application costs and fees due to the failure to obtain the required travel documents.
Health
It is the responsibility of the customer to check and comply with the health, vaccination, COVID-19 and immigration requirements of each origin and destination country, and health requirements imposed by air, tour, cruise and accommodation providers. Vaccinations, testing and quarantine costs are the expense of the customer. Comprehensive travel insurance with COVID-19 coverage is strongly recommended.
Baggage
Each person is entitled to a strict maximum of one bag not exceeding 20kg on the coach tour, superseding any other baggage allowance. Excess baggage is not permitted. You are strongly encouraged to pack lightly. A light day bag or backpack is permitted on the coach. Porterage is not included and you are required to carry your own bags. Luggage and personal effects are your own risk and we hold no liability for lost or damaged belongings.
Meals
Please notify us at the time of booking of any special dietary requirements and allergies. We will pass on your requirements but cannot guarantee that they can be met as certain choices may be limited or not catered for. You are encouraged to reconfirm requirements with your tour leader whilst on tour.
Accommodation
Accommodation names referenced are to be used as an indicative guide for the standard of accommodation to expect. Actual accommodation names may differ and will be confirmed on your final documentation. All hotel ratings are local or self-ratings provided by the supplier. All rooms are lead-in category or run of house unless otherwise specified. The standard check-in time is after 3pm and check-out is before 10am – actual times may vary.
Tipping
Tour guide and driver tipping is customary and strongly recommended gesture of appreciation for the service provided.
Transfers
Airport transfers are not included.

Itinerary
The operating schedule and itinerary may be impacted without notice by adverse weather, seasonal factors, closures, local conditions, COVID-19 or other factors beyond our control including force majeure. If attractions are not available due to reasons beyond our control such as closures or adverse weather, alternatives will be provided where possible. The itinerary and its order, sightseeing and transportation may be adjusted as deemed appropriate by the operator for optimum safety, enjoyment and operation. Any reference to ‘optional’, ‘not included’ or ‘exclusions/excluded’ means at your own expense.
Breakaway
Customers must remain with the tour group at all times and must not leave the tour unless written approval is provided before departure.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included and is strongly recommended. Ask our holiday experts for great coverage options.
Force Majeure
Force majeure means any natural disaster, accident, fire, act of God, act of war, terrorism, legally binding judgment, injunction, action of a court or other relevant authority, emergency, unplanned repairs, maintenance, strike, industrial dispute, work ban, blockade or picketing, travel ban, pandemic, epidemic or outbreak of infectious disease, or other event beyond our reasonable direct or indirect control. In case of force majeure or other extraordinary event that prevents safe travel, the supplier reserves the right to adjust, postpone or cancel the trip.
