Join your local guide after breakfast to explore this fascinating city. Visit the ornate and lavishly tiled Saadian Tombs, the Museum of Moroccan Arts, spend time in the fragrant and serene Menara Gardens before seeing the Koutubia Minaret and Bahia Palace. Later, experience the sights and sounds of Djemaa el Fna, a vibrant square of the edge of Marrakech’s medina and a colourful stage for performers, acrobats and storytellers.

After breakfast this morning, depart Marrakesh for the incredibly scenic drive over the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi’nTichka Pass, gateway to the Sahara. Stop at the highest point for a photo stop, with breathtaking 360 degree views. Then head to the 11th century Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a traditional adobe pre-Saharan fortified town, recognisable from films including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.
