Vietnam Weather Guide

This tour is designed for families and operates during or close to Australian holiday periods, and Vietnam’s tropical climate means seasons and temperatures can vary across the country.

January – February
A lovely time to travel with mild days in the north, warm sunshine in the south, and gentle conditions through Central Vietnam. Easy, comfortable weather for families with young children.

March – April
Beautiful weather right across the country. Clear skies, pleasant temperatures, and plenty of sunshine make it an ideal time for family adventures and outdoor exploring.

May – June
Warmer days arrive, but there’s still lots of sunshine. Central Vietnam is great for beach time, and any showers in the south tend to be brief, leaving the rest of the day free for activities.

July
A warm and bright period with long days perfect for sightseeing and swimming. You may feel some humidity in the north and short afternoon showers in the south, but mornings are generally clear and great for family outings.

September – December
Comfortable, cooler weather returns, especially in the north, creating pleasant conditions for exploring. Central Vietnam brightens up from November, and the south stays warm and dry — ideal for relaxed, family-friendly travel.
