Visa
Australian passport holders travelling to Indonesia are required to obtain a visa prior to or upon arrival. The most convenient option is the Electronic Visa on Arrival (e‑VOA), which can be applied for online through the official Indonesian Immigration website at evisa.imigrasi.go.id. The e‑VOA allows a 30‑day stay for tourism purposes and can be extended once for a further 30 days while in Indonesia. Applicants must hold a passport valid for at least six months from the date of arrival and provide proof of onward or return travel. Smartraveller website provides  up‑to‑date guidance for Australians travelling to Indonesia and is recommended as an additional reference before departure.

Accommodation
Our hotels names provided are a guide to the standard you can expect. Hotels are subject to change and final hotel details will be confirmed in your documentation 30 days prior to departure.

Tipping
Tipping local drivers and guides is entirely at your discretion. While it is not mandatory, it is always appreciated as a gesture of thanks for excellent service and the local knowledge shared throughout your journey. As a general guideline, a tip budget of around USD $5 per person per day is suggested.

Flights
The flights included in your package are based on a specific predetermined airfare allowance. Should there be a significant increase in airfares, fuel levies, taxes or government fees at the time of booking flights, then an airfare supplement may be imposed. The flights team will discuss options with you prior to ticketing, should this situation arise. Flights may not operate daily or directly to your destination. No show of any flight sectors will result in the automatic cancellation of all onward flights by the airline.

Fuel
In the unlikely event of a significant increase in fuel costs levied by third-party air, land and cruise transportation operators before travel, a fuel supplement may be passed on to the customer.

Documentation
Final documentation will be emailed 30 days prior to departure.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included and is strongly recommended. Ask our holiday experts for great coverage options.
