Australia – London

Welcome to England! On arrival into Heathrow Airport, make your own way to your Greenwich hotel to check in and relax for the rest of the day.

Note: Due to flight times and scheduling, you are likely to depart Australia on Day 0. Final documents will confirm travel timings.

London (B,D)

After a relaxed start to the day, join your Tour Leader and group for an orientation tour of Greenwich and cruise along the River Thames. Look out for London’s most famous sights including Tower Bridge and Big Ben. Enjoy the afternoon to explore London on your own or join an optional walking tour featuring the Highlights of Westminster. Meet up with your fellow travellers in the evening for a group dinner at a traditional local pub.

London – Paris (approx. 515kms) (B, D)

Depart London after breakfast this morning, crossing the English Channel to Paris, ‘The City of Lights and Love’. Enjoy a driving tour of the French capital, passing many of the city’s most treasured landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and the Arc de Triomphe. After the city tour, enjoy dinner at a restaurant in the famously electric and historic Latin Quarter. Then travel back to the hotel, experiencing Paris’ world famous metro system.

Paris Free Day (B)

Enjoy a full day in Paris today, free to explore however you choose. Follow the Seine River from neighbourhood to neighbourhood as it flows through the heart of the city. Or, choose an optional  river cruise to float past the grandeur of the Louvre and Grand Palais, see Notre Dame cathedral and epic Eiffel Tower. Famous architecture and legendary landmarks are scattered through the compact city, along with elegant shops and sophisticated cafes. Your Tour Leader will have plenty of ideas and local knowledge, including recommendations of special places to eat and drink.

Champagne region – Luxembourg – Heidelberg (B, D)

This morning depart Paris and head east to the champagne region of Reims to taste one of France’s most famous and highly prized exports – champagne! Then continue to Luxembourg, for free time to explore the capital of one of Europe’s smallest countries. Luxembourg City features a charming Unesco-listed centre with plenty of restaurants and cafés. Our final destination of the day is Heidelberg, Germany’s oldest university town, renowned for its Altstadt (old town). Your tour leader will take you on an orientation tour of the city centre with free time to explore before meeting back up for dinner.

Black Forest – Lake Titisee – Rhine Falls – Lucerne region (B, D)

This morning head into Germany’s Schwarzwald, home of delicious Black Forest gâteau, cuckoo clocks and Hansel and Gretel. Pick up an authentic German cuckoo clock from a local family business in the heart of the forest. Arriving on the shores of Lake Titisee, explore the spa town of Titisee before crossing into Switzerland and a stop off at the stunning Rhine Falls. There’s time to explore, with the option to take a boat ride on the falls. Once in Lucerne, your tour leader will give you a quick orientation tour before travelling on to your accommodation.

Lucerne Free Day (B)

Today have free time to enjoy the Lucerne region. All the ingredients for the quintessentially picturesque Swiss experience are here – a cobalt lake and well-preserved old town complete with waterfront promenades, covered bridges and perfect plazas are surrounded by the natural skyscrapers of the Swiss Alps.

Liechtenstein – Neuschwanstein Castle – Innsbruck (B)

Four countries in one day! Our first is the Alpine principality of Liechtenstein, the sixth smallest nation in the world. Stroll around and enjoy the scenery in the capital, Vaduz. Then visit Neuschwanstein Castle, a 19th Century German hilltop castle and the inspiration for the famous Disneyland castle. Entrance to the castle is included. Our final destination of the day is Innsbruck, Austria. Home to Austria’s third-largest student population, there’s no shortage of vibrant bars and beer gardens to enjoy. Your tour leader will introduce you to the city on a quick orientation tour.

Modena – Siena (B)

This morning head south into Italy. One of the most visited destinations in the world, Italy serves up centuries of incredible history, rich culture and of course, fantastic food! Stop in Modena, where you’ll enjoy a tasting of balsamic vinegar before arriving in Siena this afternoon. Your tour leader will take you on a short orientation tour of the historic city centre, before free time to take photos and explore.

Pisa – Florence – Siena (B)

Today explore the undoubted highlights of Tuscany: Pisa and Florence! Now over 800 years old, the Leaning Tower of Pisa is a classic sight in Italy and well worth a photo. Upon arrival in Florence, take an orientation walking tour of the city with your tour leader to see iconic sights including the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria and the replica of the statue of David. After the tour, step into the world of Italian leather crafting as you visit a local leather factory and shop. Learn more about famous handmade Florentine leather products. Spend some free time over lunch to explore before returning to Siena where you’ll spend the night.

Siena – Rome (B, D)

There is more of Italy to see – you’re off to the capital, Rome! This European metropolis buzzes with activity, tradition, passion, and an energy of its own. Your local Roman tour guide will introduce you to the city and many historic sites, including the Spanish Steps, Pantheon and Piazza Navona, and optionally, the Colosseum. Consider joining an optional food tour of the city, led by an expert Roman chef to savour exquisite local dishes, but remember to save some room for the included traditional dinner later this evening.

Rome Free Day (B)

Rome boasts ancient ruins, historical landmarks, religious buildings and a buzz like no other, and today is free to explore. Visit the Colosseum or the Roman Forum and drift backwards in time to when gladiators, chariots and lions dominated the arena. Join an excursion to the papal palace of Castel Gandolfo in the morning or spend the afternoon in the Vatican City – the smallest country in the world and home St Peter’s Basilica and see Michelangelo’s artwork in the Sistine Chapel.

Rome – Venice (B)

Leave the churches and basilicas behind today and head to the canals of Venice. On arrival, take an orientation walking tour with your tour leader to see sights including the Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square. You’ll have the option to explore Venice the traditional way – from the canals on a gondola ride (not included), which gives you a completely different perspective and appreciation for the amazing structure of this unique destination.

Venice – Ljubljana – Zagreb (B, D)

Head for Zagreb; Croatia’s capital today, after driving through the Slovenian capital Ljubljana, who’s castles, stunning architecture and natural beauty pack a punch more powerful than its small size would suggest. Once in Zagreb, your tour leader will take you on an orientation walk of this fascinating city. Explore the interesting mix of Hapsburg and Communist architecture, learn historical and cultural facts, and get a glimpse of everyday life in this charming city. Check into the hotel with time to freshen up before the included dinner this evening.

Zagreb – Budapest (B)

Cross into Hungary and head for the capital, Budapest today. Cited as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, it straddles the historic Danube River and boasts numerous UNESCO World Heritage Sites – its natural geo-thermal springs are a highlight. Enjoy a driving tour of the city, and then use your free time this evening to explore, or join an optional excursion to the Széchenyi Medicinal Bath, one of the most famous icons of the city and Europe’s largest medicinal bath.

Budapest – Bratislava – Vienna (B, D)

Travel through Bratislava this morning. Surrounded by mountains, vineyards, ski runs and wilderness, Bratislava is a charming city. Your tour leader will take you on an orientation tour to see some of the main sights. Later in Vienna, a local guide will take a walking and driving tour of the Austrian capital, renown as a centre for art and culture in Europe for centuries and host to some of the world’s leading musical minds including Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven. Vienna is also a modern city, with a vibrant café and restaurant culture to explore in the evening.

Vienna Free Day (B)

Enjoy a free day to explore Vienna. History fans should check out the incredible palaces of the era – Schönbrunn Palace and the Belvedere. Classical music lovers can enjoy a concert by one of the greatest composers of the Viennese classical period, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Vienna – Prague (B)

Today we’re off to the Czech Republic! Prague is a beautiful city, boasting elaborate baroque, gothic, art nouveau and cubist architecture, with quirky bars, cobbled lanes and secluded courtyards. Known for its brilliant beer and abundance of history, any exploration of Prague will be a memorable one. A local guide will introduce you to the must-see sights of the city, before a free afternoon to explore more at your own pace. You have the option to experience a traditional Czech folk music and dancing evening including a traditional four-course meal tonight.

Prague – Dresden – -Berlin (B, D)

Our first destination today is a lunch stop in the German city of Dresden. Virtually rebuilt from the ground up after bombing attacks in WW2 destroyed the city centre, Dresden is immaculate and stylish. Try some local German food – such as Bratwurst, and wander around the beautifully paved streets. Then carry on to the capital of Germany, Berlin. Your tour leader will introduce you to the city on a driving orientation tour – stopping to see such poignant locations as the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe and Checkpoint Charlie.

Berlin Free Day (B)

Enjoy a free day to further explore the history and modern culture of the German capital. Berlin offers numerous free museums and galleries to visit, which all contribute to the understanding of this city’s modern history.

Berlin – Amsterdam (B, D)

Journey on to The Netherlands this morning; notice the landscape change to windmills and waterways as you approach Amsterdam. This evening enjoy a canal cruise accompanied by interesting commentary about the city’s development and history. After seeing the bridges and city from the waterside, sample local cuisine at an included dinner before free time to hit the cafés, bars and coffee shops.

Amsterdam Free Day (B)

You have a full free day to experience the delights of Amsterdam, with numerous museums and art galleries to choose from. Why not visit Anne Frank’s house, the Van Gogh museum, take a bicycle tour or wander the streets and canals? Alternatively, you can join your tour leader on a Dutch countryside optional excursion, or indulge in modern and contemporary art at the MOCO Museum followed by a history lesson on Dutch Gin with a rewarding cocktail to conclude.

Amsterdam – Bruges – London (B)

Say farewell to Amsterdam and head to the medieval city of Bruges, in Belgium this morning. Enjoy free time to stroll along cobblestone streets, admire historic buildings, stock up on Belgian chocolate or sample a Belgian waffle. After Bruges, it’s time to complete the last leg of the journey back to London.

At the appropriate time, make your own way to the airport for your flight home.

If you are unable to travel due to government restrictions or supplier cancellations, we will waive our administration fee and assist with a date change or credit less any unrecoverable third-party costs. Credits are subject to supplier conditions and fare differences may apply upon rebooking.



The tour coach will be sanitised regularly. Hotels are hand-selected for enhanced COVID-19 safety and hygiene protocols. Buffet meals may be temporarily suspended for set or a la carte menus.



The itinerary and its order, sightseeing and transportation may be adjusted as deemed necessary for optimum safety, enjoyment and operation of the tour.

If attractions are not available due to reasons beyond our control such as closures or adverse weather, similar alternatives will be provided where possible.

The indicated length of trip does not include time in flight which will depend on the final flight schedule.

Included admissions provide general entrance to the attraction and do not include secondary admissions or expenses inside the venue.

Any reference to ‘optional’, ‘not included’ or ‘exclusions/excluded’ means at your own expense.



Hotel star ratings are either local ratings or self-ratings provided by the supplier. Rooms will be lead-in category or run of house unless otherwise stated.


Tipping for guides and drivers is recommended but not mandatory. It is customary to tip the Tour Leader and Driver at the end of the tour, at €4-6 Euro per person per day.



Australian passport holders do not require tourist visas to visit the European countries in this package.

Passports, visas and vaccinations are your responsibility to check and obtain. Each traveller’s full name as per a valid passport is required for issuing tickets. You are responsible for all fees due to incorrect passport information or failure to obtain the required travel documents.



Flights are booked approximately 8 to 10 months prior to departure. The flights included in your package are based on a specific predetermined airfare allowance. Should there be a significant increase in airfares, taxes or government fees at the time of booking flights, then an airfare supplement may be imposed. The flights team will discuss options with you prior to ticketing, should this situation arise. Flights may not operate daily or directly to your destination.

The minimum group size for this tour to operate is 15. The maximum group size is 48 per vehicle.



It is a condition of booking that you must always remain with the tour according to the prescribed program.

Departure from the group or deviation from the set itinerary are not permitted unless written prior consent is obtained, otherwise you risk cancellation of remaining land and air arrangements.


Final documentation will be emailed within two weeks of departure of each respective travel component.



Each person is entitled to a strict maximum of one bag not exceeding 20kg on tour, superseding any other baggage allowance.

Porterage is not included and you will be expected to carry your own bags. Luggage and personal effects are your own risk and we hold no liability for lost or damaged belongings.

Force majeure means any natural disaster, accident, fire, act of God, act of war, terrorism, legally binding judgment, injunction, action of a court or other relevant authority, emergency, unplanned repairs, maintenance, strike, industrial dispute, work ban, blockade or picketing, travel ban, pandemic, epidemic or outbreak of infectious disease, or other event beyond our reasonable direct or indirect control.

In case of force majeure or other extraordinary event that prevents safe travel, we reserve the right to adjust, postpone or cancel the trip.
